With great joy and gratitude, we share this special moment today. As the people responsible for the shelter, we fight a difficult but meaningful battle every day for the care, protection and rescue of stray animals on Rhodes.
Support and cooperation can make a real difference. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Rhodes Traffic Police for their volunteer spirit, their contribution and their willingness to stand beside us in a practical and meaningful way.
Animal rescue is never the work of one person alone. It takes cooperation, compassion and the support of people and organisations that understand how important it is to protect animals that have no voice of their own.
Today, we are also joined by three of our little friends, who are looking for their own home and their own family. One of them has experienced abuse, and yet, despite everything, has not lost faith in people.
If someone can open their heart and their home, adoption is one of the most beautiful acts of love. For us, it is another rescue. For them, it is the beginning of an entirely new life.
