Animal Rescue Rhodes is working to support an important donation project for the creation of a new quarantine centre at the state animal shelter on Rhodes. This project is essential for protecting new arrivals, especially puppies and vulnerable animals, during the first and most critical period after rescue.
A safe quarantine space can save lives. For young, weak or newly rescued animals, proper isolation, hygiene and care can prevent disease, reduce suffering and give them a real chance to survive.
Many animals arrive at the shelter frightened, exhausted, sick or too young to protect themselves. Without a secure quarantine area, infectious diseases can spread quickly and place many animals at risk.
