Another beautiful surprise was waiting for Agapi today. Her story has now travelled beyond the borders of our island, and today a German couple visiting Rhodes came to our shelter and asked to meet Agapi in person.
When we asked how they knew her, they told us that they closely follow our team and the work we do for the animals. They also expressed their support and their congratulations for our efforts.
Of course, they did not miss the chance to take our girl for a walk, hug her and brush her. And Agapi, as if she understood all the love they were giving her, stayed calm and enjoyed every moment.
These are the small, beautiful moments that fill the shelter with light and give us the strength to keep going.
