Hi! I’m Bakis… and yes, I have two great loves in my life: walks and food!
I’m a big boy with a sweet face that’s hard to ignore. You might look at me and say “oh, he’s a beast!”… but don’t be fooled by my size. Inside me I hide a huge heart and a lot of love to give. I can’t wait for my walk, because I have energy that I want to get out in the right way. Ideally I need a person who has a little strength to handle me, but I’m not uncontrollable. I walk calmly and my favorite game is to smell everything around me and do my little “patrols” like a great explorer. Once upon a time, someone decided they didn't want me anymore...
But for the kennel, I'm a little diamond that fills the space with my presence. My size may be a little intimidating at first, but my soul is much bigger. With a little daily exercise, care and love, I can be your happiest and most loyal companion. I'm not asking for much...
A walk, a safe home and a person who will see the real Bakis behind the "beast". Because I deserve that smile too.
One negative is that I have leishmaniasis and I take a pill every morning but I am in perfect health without any problems... Luckily because that was the only thing I was missing... everything is fine, fortunately! So that is not a problem if you want me to be your friend!
