Mukhtar is a beautiful German Shepherd who also experienced abandonment. Unfortunately, as happens with many dogs, someone took him in at some point in his life and when things got tough, left him behind.Nevertheless, sweet Mukhtar did not lose his trust in people. He has the wonderful character that characterizes his breed: he is affectionate, sociable and loves human presence very much. On his walks, he is a real gentleman. He walks wonderfully, does not pull on the leash at all and enjoys the tranquility of the walk with his human. It is truly a shame that such a beautiful and large dog spends his days in the cages of a shelter. Mukhtar deserves a home, a family and a person who will see him as he really is: an excellent companion.
Mukhtar has leishmaniasis, which causes him some skin problems, but with the right care and treatment he can live a normal and happy life. He is not asking for anything difficult… just an opportunity. A chance to leave the shelter behind and experience the love and security of a real home.
