Hi… I’m Leonardo!
Small, fluffy, jet black and with a look that says “I was born for hugs”… but I need some time to believe it. I’m a fearful boy and for now I only trust the person who takes care of me at the kennel. I won’t come running to fall into your arms from day one — I want to get to know you, feel safe and understand that this time someone has come to stay.
That’s why my human should be patient, loving and willing to work with me. A little training, a lot of understanding and stability will help me overcome my fears.
But when the door of my cage opens, I transform! I go out into the field, walk calmly, smell the world around me and enjoy my freedom as if to say: “Yes, after all, life outside is really nice!” I probably once had a house… but something went wrong and I still carry this insecurity. Despite all this, inside me there is a sweet creature that is just waiting for the right person. I am small, I can be a wonderful house dog and I do not ask for perfection.
I only ask for a person who will give me time to blossom.
I do not promise that I will win you over in a day…
But I promise you that when I trust you, you will have a friend forever!!
