You won’t understand me right away. I won’t come running at you, nor will I make a fuss to attract attention. I’ll come slowly, stand next to you and… if you want… you can give me a pet. That’s enough for me. I have a unique beige color with small polka dots — as if someone painted me with love and patience. And maybe that says a lot about me… because that’s how I love too: calmly, discreetly and truly. They say I’m very people-oriented and kind. I just feel that people are my home… even if I haven’t met them. I like peace. Quiet moments. People who don’t rush. Those who understand that love doesn’t need shouting to exist. I get along very well with other dogs and I’m happy to have company. But above all… I want a person. A person of my own. I don't know what my life was like before. I only know that at one point I found myself very weak, almost skeletal, until a volunteer found me. Since then I've been trying to believe again... and I'm succeeding, little by little, every day.
If you're looking for a dog full of tension and fuss... I'm not me.
But if you want a calm presence next to you, a look that tells you "I'm here" and a heart that loves you unconditionally...
